Awesome!

Went on Mothers Day worrying that we wouldn't get a table and wait for hours. The kind hostess mentioned that there was a wait but we were welcome to sit and eat at the bar. We did and it was one of the best lunch experiences I've ever had. The restaurant was clearly busy, but the bartender made time to take care of us, engage in conversation, and overall ensure that we had a great lunch. He was pretty cute too..;) Everyone was in a great mood, everything was clean, and despite the volume, the staff were awesome. I look forward to making a repeat visit and sampling other items on the apparently new menu....5 stars.

Terrible on all fronts! Vidalia's is a...

Terrible on all fronts! Vidalia's is a second-rate excuse for a restaurant. We visited for lunch after a nice morning at the market and were greeted by a rude host, followed by two extremely rude waitresses...clearly no one has taught these people the meaning of "please" and "thank you" and smiling must be outlawed in Vidalia's. To make matters worse, the food was absolutely horrible...the seafood crepes were raw, swimming in greasy sauce to the point that the dish looked like soup, and it only had ONE scallop and ONE shrimp and the fish was not fresh. The pizza barely had any toppings and was burnt black on the bottom. The menu was unsophisticated and the dishes offered made no sense...plus the only salad on the salad menu is caesar salad with artificial bacon bits! The washrooms were filty and had no soap. It's such a shame...places like this give small-town cuisine a bad name. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place when you visit St. Jacobs!

Excellent... we went for my friends 19th...

Excellent... we went for my friends 19th birthday and had a great meal! We started off with chicken wings for the guys and I had a ceasar salad... very delicious. My boyfriend says that they may be the best wings he has ever had... (I think they were a lunch special that day) then we split a family sized pizza.... absolutly divine! The server Cheryl was great and we really enjoyed the experience! Ohh..and how could I forget the dessert??? the manager suggested that we try Kahlua Chocolate Cake... (or something like that) and it was amazing!!!

A bit of Heaven in downtown St. Jacobs. The menu is very creative and the food is delicious. Our server was very friendly and took time to explain how everything was prepared. We'll be back next time we visit from Niagara Falls for sure!
