World's best fish and chips!

I've been going to Don's for years and have never had bad fish and chips. I've gotten friends from Ottawa and Timmins hooked on Don's. Simple, but delicious and always best eaten at Block House Island!

Authentic & Awesome!!!

I have been making the hour-long trip from Ottawa at least twice a year for years. The fish is the best I have had anywhere, and I sample fish and chips frequently. They don't mess around with a complicated menu: take out only, cod or haddock, served in a brown bag and wrapped in newspaper. Fries are fresh cut, thick, and greasy: delicious. But the fish is other-worldly. Simply the best. All the regular fixin's including malt vinegar are provided. There are waterfront parks with picnic tables nearby, but we take the 3 minute drive to eat under the old gazebo at St. Lawrence Park.
