I live in Maple and I only go to this particuar location. I have been coming to this Mr.Sub for about 2 years now. I find that they are the cleanest, always have fresh toppings, and give good service. I notice that they also go the extra mile to make the customers happy. The owner, Ameer is always friendly and in a good mood, very hospitable. He knows how to treat his customers. I also like a girl named Liz who happens to be the one that serves me the most. She is really friendly and in my opinion makes the best subs there. She knows my subs by memory which I find to be amazing. Shows she pays attention or that I go there too much. :) Free cookies all the time. I don't think I have ever left without some free cookies stashed away in my bag. Sometimes I get an older lady serving me when I come in late at night . She's often friendly but I find that when she is in a bad mood, she shows it. Sometimes she doesn't smile like the rest of the staff. I notice when she serves me, my subs are either messy or really good. Its not consistent. I think it depends on her mood. Overall though, nothing bad to say about this Mr.Sub. I hope they stay in business. Plan to go there today. Can't wait. Lire plus

I love Charlie's Steakery! The food is so good! We ordered our sandwiches and was waiting for them. The man behind the counter forgot about our french fries. He was very apolegetic and kind. He said after we get our sandwiches, to sit down and he would bring our french fries to us. We received our sandwiches, which were delicious, and we sat down. After a few minutes, the man gave us our french fries, and a free glass of lemonade. He said the lemonade was for forgetting the french fries. Such a nice guy! The food can't be topped, and I will definitely return again. This is the best fast-food place I have ever been to. The service was excellent! Lire plus

If you wish, you can order a side of hotsauce which has flakes of habenaro in it. During the lunch hours the place generally has a line going out the door. I have been to this location before and have always been somewhat satisfied, decent food/service..but today was completely different.The young man working the dinner hour shift named Alex was absolutely incredible....came around and asked if we were all happy with our food, asked everyone, then came over and started CLEANING tables for customers, putting trays in garbage etc.I have NEVER seen that in a fast food joint(young lady helped too!!) I remember coming here in the early 1990s and loved it then. It still has one of the best burgers in town, especially the homemade burger. They serve beer and have a TV as well. I watched the hockey playoffs while having my food. Great food, excellent customer service and hope they do not renovate as I love the classic diner look! If you have never been here, it is a must! I had the Stew Oxtail wth Rice and Peas for the first time a few weeks ago and I must say...it was the best Oxtail I ever had. Hats off to the chef! The service is not the same at the Casey's near AMC in Scarborough. The service here was outstanding. One of my favourite things is to go down to St Lawrence on a Saturday with a friend who is peameal or eggplant obsessed (you know who you are!) and convince them that "this week, we go to Churrasco St Lawrence, and next week we'll get yours". We never go for their sandwich, because they are always instant converts. All take-away, you can't miss with their huge Chicken Sandwich, what appears to be most of a chicken completely infused with the fantastic sauce with lettuce and tomato. With or without mayo. The sandwich is enough to give you a big grin and a full belly, but I usually find room for a custard tart, something akin to a creme brulee taste in a buttery yet flaky, almost phyllo-style shell. Yeah. They do full rotisserie chickens and a range of other foods too, but to be honest in 4 years I've never gotten past the sandwich. I'm hooked. If you've had a night on the town, a few bites into this mamma jamma and you'll be saying the same thing I am. Lire plus
