We have visited many Italian reataurants throughout Ontario from Brockville to Niagara Falls, Oshawa to North Bay and Avanti's in Oshawa is number one. Not because we live here, because of the food, the service, the friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of this establishment. Their Fusilli in Bianco is our favorite. We have dined there many times before Oshawa Generals Hockey games and Shows at the newly renovated Regent Theatre. And we are so proud to mention Avanti's everywhere we go. They bring out the pride in Oshawa when it comes to dining out.

What a treat we had in Port Perry after a couple of hours out on the water. The main dining room was full so we were shown a table in a private room which we had all to ourselves. Both the service and the food was excellent. The owner, Christie, was friendly and down to earth making us feel very welcome. A couple of us had food restrictions which were easily accommodated. The homemade ice cream was a exceptional way to end a delicious lunch. I’ll definitely go back!

Yesterday, four of my friends and I celebrated my birthday at lunch time. All 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals plus our waitress, who gave us excellent service, added to our enjoyment. She also brought me a tasty dessert with a lit candle in it. My friends all said they would be back.

The food was excellent and a reasonable price. Love the hamburger was homemade no frozen meat pad here, the chicken with bow ties pasta was amazing.
the appetizers was also great spinach/artichoke dip.

We went for Easter dinner with my dad who was in town and everybody enjoyed their meals.
The ambience is nice, the place is clean and the food selection is bountiful.
Our server was interactive, attentive and was very professional in a casual, non snobby way.
We all enjoyed our meals!
This is comparable to going to the Keg, but you can actually make a reservation and the crowds are never as crazy.
I'd recommend this place to anybody!

I held my husband’s 50th birthday party at Jesters on the upper floor and everything was handled perfectly. The food was delicious, the service was top notch, and the management was so helpful and accommodating for all of my dietary requests, they set up the decorations and everything went perfectly, it was a a fun, fantastic party. Evening was great however the “large plates” are not so large in food quantity. You see a large plate but the food is tiny. You cannot share these plates. We went for lunch once and their food plates had more food.

Food is always delivered promptly, the restaurant is always clean, and overall, it is just a nice meal out with the family. I definitely recommend to any families visiting Port Perry. Haven't been here for a while and was pleasantly surprised to find that they have redecorated. Replaced a number of tables with booths and that makes it much nicer inside. Food is great. Lots of variety. Excellent prices. The one thing about this place that annoys me is that they never bring your bill to the table -- I always have to go to the cash to find out how much the bill is and pay. Not a biggie but still annoying.

Even if you are not into sushi, it is worth a trip to Kakemono!
My boyfriend LOVES sushi and although I don't mind it, it is not my favourite meal in the world. However, I love Teriyaki and the Teriyaki dishes on Kakemono's all you can eat menu are wonderful. The prices are reasonable when compared to the price you may for most all-you-can-eat places and the food was great. We will be going back in the near future!
